Mr. John Gong hosted a banquet at the Richard Nixon Library & Museum
In 1972 President Nixon paved the road between two countries with his historic visit to China. Nixon’s visit to China set the precedent of a new chapter within the global landscape and it was a step towards normalizing relations. In 1979, the US-Sino diplomatic relationship was formally established and in the 40 years that followed, there has been historic progress and development.
Mr. John Gong hosted a banquet at the Richard Nixon Library & Museum on December 15th, 2019 to honor the 40th year of the US-Sino relationship.
